Aw man, cut some of that low end rumble out and you have such a lovely low key beat god damn I feel like I'm floating around on a cloud listening to this, solid job my guy <3

Its good to see I can get real comments here.
and not just bots talking about promo like s̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶c̶l̶o̶u̶d̶

Interesting sound man, can't say I've heard much like it, very decent!

VakZeeN responds:

I appreciate the response brutha, Thank You!!

You didn't specify what you wanted advice on or thoughts on so I'm just going to assume you meant with the song itself as opposed to the mix.

Solid bass line dude. That was some head bopping stuff. A personal taste suggestion would be to calm the bass line down a touch during the transition.

Your kit is amazing, the sounds fit perfectly together, I would love to know what you're using for it.

ElastoGD responds:

It's the Cobra pack from cymatics it's a free download :D

I feel like the kick might be slightly too loud, there's a lot of rumble on the low end. Maybe double check your EQ. The bones are there, solid song, just gotta check those frequencies :)

harvo68 responds:

Thanks for the feedback, made this in only a few hours so it's not polished :)

The beat itself is sick man, the entire track is clipped though, takes away a lot of the punch. Lower those levels and you're set. Good job dude.

paulinhudj responds:

THANKS, you are right i'm too lazy to do something with this beat lol, i apreciate your opinion

The intro melody feels disjointed from the transition. It feels like the intro of a song was spliced onto the body of a different song. Stronger use of some risers and fallers would help with your structure. Beat placement is solid and both melodies aside from each other were good :)

sylace2 responds:

Thank you for the time of day. Yes, that is exactly the case, the first part is a render from a different project that I put in. I can't imagine the song without the intro having the key change.

The rendered file is from a project I made trying to tune to A432, thinking a -0.80 decrease in the tuning of an oscilator would equal the 8hz difference..
Idk, the math doesn't sound right but I haven't looked into it. What I found was a melody that only sounds right with either a drop 80% to the next note down, 80 cents lower than the (note)/1200 value or playing half a note down, and raising the pitch 30 cents.
Weird obsessive thing its turned into.

This very well may just be personal taste, but the beat itself feels very busy. The sections where you have that (perfectly legal I'm sure) vocal sample, it seems to thin out. That is where I would expect someone to be rapping.

Otherwise, solid beat placement, melody is on point, the closed hats are maybe a touch too loud but as I said, that may just be me :)

VakZeeN responds:

Much obliged good sir. I just did some editing on it and replaced the file i first uploaded so if you want, go ahead and gove it another listen haha... Thank you for the constructive criticism cause to tell ya the truth i've been waiting for someone to give me a little input, ya know what i mean? And as far as being able to use the sample...i pretty much completely chopped it up and got down n dirty with the tempo as well so it basically would'nt resemble the original. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well...

Would absolutely love to see some layering with the sounds you're using. The beat placement is dope though man.

VakZeeN responds:

I appreciate the feedback yo. Thank you...

God DAMN this is tight.

IonicForce responds:

Thank you for checking out Equilibria!
This is one of my most favorite tracks that have been written so far!
