Solid, straight forward, bouncy. This was entertaining to listen to. Your sidechain added a lot of rhythm and broke up any repetitiveness (or plainness) you might have noticed. It was well structured. Well done!

aBlueFire responds:

Thanks! I initially thought the sidechain could use more work but it seems fine as it is.

Oh damn, you've got hella bars boy, hmu if you need some more angry beats for that harsher voice you brought up around 2:00 bro. Solid!

ph4de responds:

Yooo I'm always down bro!! Thank you for the love!

Solid automation, really enjoyed your chord progressions too. The real kicker for me was your transitions. Seamless, man. Do you have a YouTube you upload to as well?

FuzionTech responds:

no..I do not have a YT. but Thanks for your review.

Holy reverb, are you anticipating someone rapping over this?

segamfle01 responds:

I did it for myself to play geometry dash

Dope lofi beat man. Kick is maybe a little high but that's probably just personal taste. Maybe turn down the samples of Homer a little too, when the Polaroid sample came in it felt a little out of place.

zEch0 responds:

thanks for feedback

Your energy during the intro was a little strange, the song kept giving the impression there was going to be a drop, though not in the suspense kind of way. God damn it found it's feet though. Solid mix, loved the melody! Your bass sound is killer too, did you make it yourself?

Karabast responds:

Thanks! The intro is actually the drop copied, but with a lot of the elements like the lead and bass removed.

I made all the basses in Serum. The verse bass is a saw wave with 16 voices of unison and a low pass filter and the drop bass is actually 2 different patches. The first one is again a saw wave with 16 voices and the second one was made from Virtual Riot's "Dying Saw" wavetable from VR Wavetables Vol. 2.

Try turning down that lead synth, it's super loud in the intro sections. At 1 min it sounds like a lot of the chords are clashing against each other, eventually it meshes together but it was very jarring initially. Nice melody work, I'm getting huge moonlighter vibes :)

MandrakeGuy responds:

thanks for the feedback!

now you point it out, yeah i can sorta hear it, but even then, id actually say that it fits in some form of way, you know, its not complete yet, but then the well "chords" find a way to be important

although i still understand what you mean, i prefer using mistakes in meaningful ways, but i will remember this for when i make another one

Damn dude. This isn't particularly my style of music but you had me bopping start to finish. Solid production, your arrangement is on point!

Another-Time responds:

thank you :D

Some new kit sounds would do this song absolute wonders. Nice melody ideas :)

C211 responds:

Unfortunately, I didn't have any new sets of sounds, so I decided to make drums from the old ones to create the atmosphere of old songs from 2007. Thanks!

I'm forever in love with your counter melodies, god damn. The bass crescendo felt like it was dragging me into the song, your plucks are perfect, this makes my heart happy my dude.

JsBeatzz responds:

Thank you! I really do appreciate it 😁

Voting on stuff since whenever I made this account.
